- Mad Mental Crazy! The True Life of the Fabulous Zenith by Laura Sneddon. I had intended to try to chart the history of the development of the story and the involvement of the various creatives, but when looking for sources I kept coming back to this essay, and quickly realised I was in danger of just reproducing it entirely. Not helpful. So I’ll just link to it here. Be sure to read the comments too, though.
